- Multimeter readings may not be accurate due to errors in calibration
- The temperature of the juices may change, affecting the electrolytes
- The voltage of the battery may decrease after several experiments
- The copper wire itself may start reacting quickly with the electrolyte solution, this will affect the readings (When this happened we took the initial reading i.e. When it was pure copper)
